Tellor is a decentralized oracle protocol that enables anyone to report off-chain data to smart contracts in a permissionless manner. Reporters stake TRB to post values on-chain, and any participant can dispute a data point during a challenge window. The token holders vote on disputes, and dishonest reporters risk losing their stake.

TRB is the network’s native token used for staking, governance, and dispute resolution, and it also funds ongoing reporter rewards. The project describes inflationary rewards for data provision and community validation, aligning incentives for accurate reporting.
