Write for Acquire.Fi

Acquire.Fi is the first M&A marketplace connecting businesses with qualified investors. Our platform reaches investors, founders, and operators who use it to make real decisions. Our team seeks fresh perspectives from industry experts and business founders who want to share knowledge with our global audience. This page explains what to write, who qualifies, and what you get in return.

What topics do we accept?

Acquire.Fi accepts three types of content:

  • Case studies work best when you walk through a real transaction, a regulatory shift, or a market event and explain what happened and why it matters.
  • Original research means you ran the numbers yourself, whether that's a survey of token issuers, an analysis of OTC deal flow, or a breakdown of compliance costs across jurisdictions.
  • Industry guides give readers a clear, practical path through a topic like crypto licensing, deal structuring, or secondary market liquidity.

If your content exists to sell a product, a service, or a company, it will not run here. Readers can tell the difference between analysis and a pitch, and so can our editorial team.

Who can write for us?

Acquire.Fi publishes work from industry experts, business founders, C-suite professionals, and experienced writers who cover crypto, finance, and marketing for a living.

Your byline needs weight. That could mean you have run a fund, built a compliance program, launched a token, or spent years reporting on the markets our readers operate in. Acquire.Fi does not accept submissions from newbie writers. This is not a training ground for first bylines. It is a platform for people who already have something worth saying and the track record to back it up.

What’s in it for you?

Publishing on Acquire.Fi puts your name and thinking in front of active crypto investors and founders who read the blog to find deals and vet opportunities.

Here is what you gain from a byline on Acquire.Fi:

  • Exposure to our audience: Your piece reaches an investor and business owner community actively looking for insight, not casual browsers.
  • A platform to showcase your expertise: A well-argued case study or a sharp piece of original research does more for your credibility than a dozen social posts.
  • Marketing opportunities: A published piece gives you something concrete to share with clients, investors, or your own network.
  • A backlink in your author bio: Every accepted piece includes a bio with a link back to your site or profile, which supports your own search visibility.

Content guidelines

Acquire.Fi holds every submission to a high standard, and that standard exists to protect the reader’s time.

Submissions must be 1,500 words or more. Anything shorter rarely has room to make a real argument or back it up with evidence. The piece must be expert-led, reflecting direct experience or original analysis, not a summary of what other outlets have said.

Write for humans, not AI tools or search engine bots. Our editorial team can tell the difference between a piece built to rank and one built to inform. Only the latter gets published. Bring your own take. A neutral recap of known facts will not pass review, but a clear point of view backed by evidence will.

The piece must be original and unpublished anywhere else, including your own blog or LinkedIn. And it must follow Acquire.Fi’s style guide, which the editorial team will send once your pitch is accepted. That guide covers formatting, sourcing, and tone. Submissions that ignore it get sent back for revision.

How to submit your content

Submitting a piece to Acquire.Fi takes four steps.

  1. Email your pitch: Send a brief overview of your subject and explain how it connects to our audience of crypto investors and founders. Keep it short. A few sentences on the angle and relevance are enough to get a decision.
  2. Wait for a response: The editorial team reviews pitches within two business days. You will hear back either way.
  3. Submit your draft: Once your topic is accepted, send the full draft as a Google Doc, along with any images you want included.
  4. Get notified on next steps: The editorial team will tell you if the draft needs edits or if it is ready to publish as is.

Email your pitch to jeff@acquire.fi with a “Content pitch” subject line to get started.

Frequently asked questions

Can I submit a piece that was posted on social media

No. Acquire.Fi only publishes original content that has not appeared anywhere else, including social media accounts, personal blogs, and LinkedIn.

How many links can I include in my author bio

One link back to your site or professional profile. Additional links inside the body copy should point to authoritative sources that support your argument, not to your own business.

What happens if my draft doesn’t follow the style guide?

The editorial team will send it back with notes. Revisions that align with the style guide move to publication faster than pieces that need multiple rounds of edits.

How long does it take to get published after my draft is approved?

Timelines vary based on the editorial calendar, but the team will keep you updated at each stage, from review through publication.
