Description

Fireblocks is a blockchain security and infrastructure company that helps financial institutions move, store, and issue digital assets securely. The platform uses multi-party computation technology and chip isolation to protect wallets and API credentials at an institutional level.

The platform supports many use cases. Financial institutions use Fireblocks for treasury management, digital asset custody, stablecoin payments, tokenization, and wallet-as-a-service. Its clients include well-known names like BNY Mellon, Revolut, Worldpay, and BNP Paribas. By 2025, major remittance companies such as MoneyGram and WorldRemit also joined the platform, showing its growth beyond crypto-native businesses into mainstream finance.

Fireblocks was founded in 2018 and has grown rapidly. By September 2023, it had over 1,800 customers and created more than 130 million wallets. The rise of stablecoins boosted this growth. In 2024, stablecoin transactions made up more than half of all platform activity, with annual volumes over $1.5 trillion. By 2025, monthly stablecoin volumes reached over $200 billion, a 300% increase from the previous year.

This growth attracted major investment. Fireblocks has raised $1.04 billion over six funding rounds. The Series E round, completed in January 2022, brought in $550 million and valued the company at $8 billion, making it the highest-valued digital asset infrastructure provider worldwide at that time. D1 Capital Partners and Spark Capital led the round. Other investors included General Atlantic, Index Ventures, Sequoia Capital, CapitalG, Altimeter Capital, Iconiq Strategic Partners, and Canapi Ventures, showing strong support from top venture and growth investors.

Fireblocks is a pre-IPO company, so its shares are not listed on public exchanges. But that doesn’t mean they’re out of reach. On over-the-counter platforms like Acquire.Fi, you can buy Fireblocks stock OTC directly from Fireblocks team members and early investors who want to sell their private shares. Buyers can browse active listings or post their own Buy listing with their preferred amount and price.

Minority stakeholders who want to sell Fireblocks stock OTC are also welcome on the marketplace. Sellers can review offers from qualified buyers or create a Sell listing to quietly sell their shares on their own terms.

Acquire.Fi supports both buyers and sellers throughout the entire transaction. Our team of experts screens and connects counterparties, guides them through legal and compliance steps, and helps close the deal to meet institutional standards.
