Bounce Finance is a decentralized auction platform built on blockchain technology that lets anyone create and run on-chain auctions for tokens, NFTs, and physical collectibles without relying on centralized intermediaries. Launched in September 2020, Bounce gained traction across the DeFi and NFT ecosystem by giving buyers and sellers a transparent, non-custodial auction environment managed entirely by smart contracts. Users retain control of their assets at all times, which distinguishes Bounce from centralized auction houses where a third party holds custody.
The platform supports eight distinct auction formats: fixed-price, English, Dutch, sealed-bid, random selection, playable, order book, and hold-to-compete auctions. That breadth matters because different assets and communities have different distribution needs. A project launching a new token wants fair price discovery through a Dutch auction. A collector selling a rare physical item wants a transparent English auction with verifiable on-chain settlement.
Bounce V3, released in February 2023, introduced Auction as a Service (AaaS), dividing the platform’s offerings into three categories: token and NFT auctions across more than 40 blockchains, real-world collectible auctions where physical assets are tokenized as NFTs and sold on-chain, and a decentralized merger and acquisition protocol introduced in April 2024. Think of AaaS as Shopify for auctions: teams plug into the infrastructure instead of building it themselves.
The real-world asset push is where Bounce has differentiated most aggressively. In November 2024, Bounce Finance partnered with SeoulAuction Blue, an affiliate of Korea’s oldest and largest auction house, and BounceBit to conduct the first on-chain auction of Claude Monet’s painting “Paysage.” Physical items get shipped to a secure warehouse, authenticated, and represented as NFTs before the auction begins. Once settled on-chain, ownership transfers to the buyer’s wallet.
Bounce Finance was co-founded in 2020 by Jack Lu and Chandler Song. In March 2021, Bounce announced a funding round from Pantera, Coinbase Ventures, Blockchain Capital, and DHVC, which the team earmarked for expanding the NFT vertical and upgrading the platform’s core infrastructure. Those four investors collectively represent some of the deepest institutional conviction in early-stage crypto protocols, bringing both capital and strategic relationships that accelerated Bounce’s integrations across major chains.
The AUCTION token is Bounce Finance’s native cryptocurrency and the economic backbone of the entire ecosystem. AUCTION’s total supply is capped at approximately 7.6 million tokens, with staking rewards funded by protocol fees. That hard cap creates scarcity as platform usage grows. The token serves four functions: paying fees for hosting auctions and certified listings, staking to earn protocol revenue, voting on governance proposals that determine upgrades and fee structures, and accessing exclusive launchpad token sales through Bounce Premium. As of August 2025, governance votes shaped new real-world asset auction features including dedicated RWA product lines and an upgraded token holder hub.
AUCTION trades on centralized cryptocurrency exchanges for standard purchases. For large token amounts, locked tokens, or SAFT notes, Acquire.Fi’s OTC and Secondaries Marketplace is the right venue for your transaction.
You can buy Bounce Finance tokens OTC on Acquire.Fi by engaging directly with existing sell listings that match your target price and quantity. If nothing in the marketplace suits your requirements, submit a new Buy listing with your preferred valuation and the token amount you want.
You can also sell Bounce Finance tokens OTC on Acquire.Fi if you hold a position and are ready to exit. Review active Buy listings for a counterparty, or submit a new Sell listing with your terms.
Once your listing is submitted, Acquire.Fi takes responsibility for the process. The team runs background checks on all parties, issues NDAs, and then makes the introduction. You and your counterparty handle your own due diligence and payment settlement. Acquire.Fi is not a broker-dealer, but the team will actively assist throughout to give the deal the best chance of closing.
