Description

Electron Foundation is working on a solution that could make Ethereum scaling much easier. The main idea is Universal Proof Aggregation, which collects many zero-knowledge proofs and combines them into one proof that can be checked on-chain. This method cuts verification costs and allows more zk-based apps and rollups to operate together without high gas fees. Trusted Execution Environments are used alongside succinct proof designs to keep verification cheap while preserving decentralization. In short, Electron serves as an infrastructure layer that makes different zk products cheaper and easier to combine.

The project started around 2021 and began public fundraising in 2024, raising seed money from well-known angel investors and web3 funds. Electron is showing strong growth both technically and within its community. The Quantum testnet is live, documentation and explorer tools are available, and the team has shifted from research to testnet launches while bringing in key node partners. With successful fundraising and more developers joining, these signs suggest steady progress instead of short-term hype.

Electron also plans to launch a native token to support its network. This token will collect value from users of the aggregation service and reward the nodes that run the proving network. The system creates a cycle: users pay for aggregation, nodes get token rewards, and the protocol uses tokens to fund operations and incentives. Early fundraising materials and sale plans clearly mention this token utility.

That said, future Electron tokens can still be bought on crypto over-the-counter desks, such as Acquire.Fi. Our crypto OTC and Secondaries Marketplace lets you buy upcoming Electron tokens directly from Electron team members and early backers. Just browse current offers, click Make an Offer to start, or complete the Buy form to create a custom OTC purchase tailored to your needs.

If you already have an Electron SAFT allocation and want to sell privately, the same marketplace makes it simple: submit a Sell form to list your tokens or review offers from qualified buyers.

Whether you’re buying or selling Electron tokens OTC, Acquire.Fi guides you step-by-step to help keep your transaction smooth, private, and secure.
